The Center’s focus on Employment Outcomes for transition aged youth is due to this population experiencing lower rates of employment than their peers without disabilities. We will examine how VR agency-level factors and individual consumer characteristics impact youth outcomes, share lessons learned from the Maryland Seamless Transition Collaborative and propose models for a rigorous impact evaluation of Project SEARCH. We conduct these activities to improve VR service delivery, and to ultimately make an impact on employment outcomes for youth with disabiltiies.
Find publications such as journal articles, Fast Facts, manuscripts and archived presentations generated by the Center researcher's and partners that address VR, transition models, and improving employment outcomes for youth with disabilities.
We've gathered useful resources from key disability organizations, technical assistance providers, university centers, and others related to imrpoving employment outcomes for youth with disabilities.
